CNG - CNG-CALC is an economic analysis system for alternate fuel vehicles. Compare the cost of any alternate fuel scenario, for any type of vehicle. It can be used to produce financial comparisons of the cost to convert vehicles (of any type) to use Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Methanol, Ethanol, Gasoline, LNG, Diesel, Electric, Propane or Hydrogen. Use it for any mix of vehicles, from passenger vehicles, to diesel trucks, or forklifts. Some of the vehicles can be dual-fuel, others can be dedicated to one fuel.

CNG-CALC will also accommodate the costs of refueling stations. Useful for Fleet managers, or anyone else interested in determining the economic benefit of converting any vehicle to any fuel. You can do a financial comparison for Ethanol, and then another for CNG, or Diesel.

CNG-CALC can also produce pressure/volume charts to calculate fill amounts based on beginning/ending pressures, temperature and molecular value of gas composition (vs. micro motion measuring devices). All volume amounts can be measured in either USA units or metric units. CNG-CALC also includes a storage tank sizing module, that accesses manufacturer storage data, based on dimensions, weight guidelines and minimum equivalent gallons desired.

Financial Analysis will take into account current fuel prices, current vehicle usage, efficiencies and any dual fuel usage patterns. Depreciation schedules for vehicles are user modifiable. CNG-CALC evaluates Net Present Value (NPV) of the investment versus the Internal Rate of Return (IRR).

User can select language desired, including English, German, French, Italian, Nowegian, Dutch, Portugese, and Spanish

This system will also store fleet fill amounts for vehicles in a separate data table, and produce reports of fill amounts, consumption/mileage, vehicle service records.

This system is useful to determine the financial impact of conversion decisions.

I am unable to open this executable on a city computer where I work so I will have to run it on my home laptop.

I would like anyone who works with a city government Fleet that has CNG vehicles to contact me. I have been selected to help prepare a CNG briefing for our city government. I am the researcher who will help the city grant writer collect and organize the data and case studies from those who are most happy with CNG vehicles.

I need cost effectiveness data, infrastructure costs to build an aboveground refueling station for CNG with four individual nozzle set-ups so four city vehicles could fuel up simultaneously.
I would like to see copies of actual RFPs for CNG vehicles that our city would likely be ordering (with the help of a grant from the federal government or from a budgeted process).

We may convert some and perhaps buy new factory CNG dependent vehicles depending on the variables.

I have been noticing there are CNG forklifts and mowers too. I will gladly accept any comments, referrals to CNG website links, etc.., good or bad,
